Cognitive Assessment
The Complete Advantage Psychology Team can provide you with a comprehensive assessment of your child’s learning abilities, behaviour and intelligence, to support decision-making regarding learning disabilities, education placement and curriculum planning.
A range of assessment tools are administered by our Psychologist through child testing and parent interview, including the Wechsler Pre School and Primary Scales of Intelligence- (WPPSI-III), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV),
Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-II) and The Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales (Vineland-II). The assessment tools used are recommended by our Psychologist in relation to your needs and the age and needs of your child.
Assessment is generally conducted over two sessions at our clinic, of up to 1.5 / 2 hours maximum duration at each appointment. A comprehensive report is then prepared for you, with the option of a feedback session to ensure all aspects of the assessment and report findings are explained clearly.
